Love

You get what you focus on!

How many times have so many of you heard me say this?

Countless times, no doubt, because it is a true statement and one that I live by.

For example: If we want love, then its best to start in small ways to love all things.

This can mean, petting your cat or hugging a tree even, because every animal and every leaf on a tree contains atoms of the divine, so are part of all existence. Understand this and come closer to loving yourself equally as those around you.

Nor is love relegated to physical love alone, for the body does not need to be loved, but our Being does.

Most of us are curious .. its part of our nature. As such, get curious about what would happen or how our life would change if you started to love yourself and love others. Think of it as an experiment, to see if it works. Afterall, Yoga has long recommended that we be the scientist, seeking answers for ourselves. So get curious about love, about devotion and dedication to your Yoga practice.

Om Peace!
